I noticed you mentioned reusing cardboard boxes. There's a great company that sells previously used cardboard boxes, both for residential (moving) purposes as well as business. UsedCardboardBoxes.com takes boxes that might otherwise wind up in landfills and gives them a second life. I bought a moving kit from them, and couldn't be happier.
