Eco Question of the Day- Reuse Paintbrushes?

- More than 500 Million toxic Paintbrushes are put in landfills every year.Â
Which is better?:Â
Do you throw away paint rollers and brushes or use gallons of water to clean them?
I figured even with the right directions, I used at least 10 gallons of water to clean my paint brush and more to clean the roller. The ‘Green Thing’ to do is re-use, but we are in a drought situation, so every drop counts. Ideally you would reuse the rollers and brushes in other ways to keep out of the landfill and not use any water. Unfortunately I can’t think of much to do with rollers or brushes.Â
