Quite a while ago, I was posting on the toxicity of cosmetics, what an eye-opener! From that point on, I started eliminating almost every single beauty product that had toxic elements. It is not easy, but what I found, I have saved hundreds of dollars by going green in the beauty product category. Yes, I do pay more for organic products, but in the process by eliminating impulse buys, not having duplicates of every type of product, eliminating cosmetics I don’t wear and wearing less, what a savings not only in the wallet but in the environment.

Wow….this article was shocking to me. I was recently diagnosed (sept 2011) with breast cancer and underwent surgery and f/u chemo so I have been checking in to the link between deodorants and breast cancer. Thanks!
