Flooring -Quick Step Laminate Click In

Quick Step Green Works

There is a fairly new flooring out there called Quick Step- Green Works.

Here’s How it is Green

  • Ready for a change- un-click the beveled edges and move and reuse in another room or donate.
  • No glue is used – no VOC
  • 78% of US produced laminate boards are made of wood waste that would otherwise be burned or dumped in landfill.
  • Wood waste from manufacturing is used as bio-mass fuel for process heating in the factory

Looks very interesting

  1. Costco wouldn’t let me borrow a plank of the Harmonics-brand (made by Quick-Step) beautiful Brazilian Cherry to compare with our other flooring selections, so I bought a box and left it in my car. When I get in the car now it has a horrible chemical odor.

Maybe this no glue-down flooring saves you from glue VOCs, but I wonder what junk they are using in the manufacture of the material?
