Largest Tire Dump- Cleaned Up in Alabama

After 3 years, 8 Million tires and and estimated $7 Million taxpayer costs, the largeste tire dump in Alabama is finished being cleaned up as reported by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management. The ADEM estimates that these tires represent about 40% of Alabama scrap tire volume.
