Hi

I am in the heavy moving and rigging business. My family has been in business since 1873. I need room in my warehouse and need to sell some timbers we used for house moving

Here is the quick count and dimensions. There are more timbers, but I have to move some to get to them. I am working on the pictures as well.
Approx. 36 12 -14 8x8
8 12 -14 8x10
12 12 -14 6x8
1 13 10x12
1 22 7x9
2 14 6x8
1 18 8x10
4 17 6x8
2 15 10x14
1 20 8x8
2 18 8x10
2 16 8x8
1 17 8x10
4 16 8x10
4 22 8x10
2 26 8x10
2 20 8x10
They are clear and mostly heartwood. I also have dozens of 8-10' oddball sizes which are bureied as well.
I hope this gives you a good start.

i live in extreme southern il. I have inherited an old farm house that was built back sometime in the early 1900's (i think). it is two story with rooms averaging 16*16. it has a beautiful staircase with about 15 feet of bannister. all solid doors, 11 inch wide poplar baseboards, and lots of door casing all the same. Trim and staircase never been painted or refinished. Floor joists in every room, both levels are all true 2x10 red oak as well as the rest of the building lumber. One main rough cut beam underneath the house, 2 feet wide, 16 inches thick, and 10-15 feet long. Whole house on the interior is T and G of mostly poplar and mabye cherry? Would be willing to sell the whole house to someone who reclames old houses like this one.

Check out this post:

or

or
You can either go to the side bar of greenecoservices.com, click on your state for a listing of salvage/reclaimed wood companies. That would be the first place to start.
