reCreate – A New Concept in Eco Friendly Retailing

reCreate Recycling Trash Into Treasures
I wish we had one of these stores here in San Diego! What a great idea, ReCREATE in Roseville, California, is a nonprofit organization that collects unwanted materials from regional businesses and then in turn uses those items to encourage environmental conservation, art and creative expression. Yes, they turn trash into treasure and will even come to your school to offer these creative eco-friendly, reuse classes.
Instead of having a clown or a jumping balloon, you can actually have a birthday party or any other event in their store. How fun is that!
This sustainable idea is brought to Roseville by Donna Sangwin, an eco-friendly mom, who founded Recreate in order to merge education and the environment into making cool stuff. To view more pictures or find out how you can help, visit www.recreate.org

Thats definitely a neat idea. So much junk gets tossed into the dump every day, and sadly most of it is still fully useable!
