Thay should plant hardwood mixed in or you will have a monocoulther that so much of the state has now.Across the road from my home used to be a old grouth woods.it was clear cut,planted in pines.now you can walk in ther and not see or hear a bird or animal at all.It is a pine desert with no food for anything.
