I ran out of plastic bags to pick up trash. (Great Excuse!) Actually I did run out of plastic bags and the

batteries dies for the camera and kept forgetting to get rechargeable batteries. (another poor excuse)
The truth is I was so disgusted last time I went to pick up trash. It was starting to get to me, couldn’t
go anywhere without getting annoyed with the amount of trash all over the street!

Unfortunately I have developed BB (Blogger’s Butt) and now must get back to the streets!

Trash

The count:

3/4 of a mile = 137 pieces of trash including 2 tennis balls.

Trash Talking :

  • The average family accumulated 60 plastic bags in only 4 trips to the grocery store
  • Which means if your grocery store is crediting you back $.05, you will make your money back in 5 trips to the grocery store (and the rest is savings!)
  • Each quality reusable bag you use has the potential to eliminate an average of 1,000 plastic bags over it’s lifetime.
  • In my opinion- Home Depot has the worst plastic bags, they are not reusable because they split by the time you make it to your car.
