Wondering what to do about Holiday Gifts? Why not take all those extra jars and containers (reuse) and make up your own Salsa as a Gift. Here is a great recipe!

Save the equivalent of making $66.24 per hour making your own…

3.         3 cloves garlic chopped or pressed                               0.02

4.         2 tbls chopped cilantro *

5          1/2 onion chopped                                                        0.10

* Optional, if you like cilantro and have it on hand.

Place ingredients in blender for about 10 seconds

Makes 24 oz of salsa for $1.98

 A 16oz jar of premium salsa costs about $5.00, that’s a cost of $7.50 for 24oz

 $7.50       premium store bought

$1.98       premium home made

=              $5.52      savings

Total time to prepare this salsa is 5-10 minuets.

After you have made this recipe a couple of times you’ll be able to make this salsa and clean the blender in about 5 minuets. Your money savings could be 5.52 for 5 minutes of work which is like saving the equivalent of  $66.24 per hour of work.
