In 2007, Salt Lake Valley Solid Waste Management processed the following:
- 1,154,784 tons of waste.
- 457,842 tons were put into the landfill.
- 190,764 tons went to The Salt Lake Valley Transfer Station to a remote regional landfill.
- 683,716 tons were recycled.
- The landfill has 550 acres and is the largest Class 1 municipal solid waste disposal facility in Utah.
- The Salt Lake Valley Solid Waste management Facility is located at:
